For the sake of it, I’ll visit some other special lectures as well.

We had some introductions today and the professor in nuclear physics told us to set the speed of light, the Planck constant and the dielectric constant equal to 1. That would make calculations far easier.

I’ll stick with it.

I never got it why one would use macroscopic dimensions to measure tiny amounts of energy, etc… .

Right now, I’m preparing for exams at the beginning of October. I will encounter theoretical mechanics,  electro dynamics and molecular physics as well as numerical methods.

Plenty to do for the next few weeks.

I’ll also be working on a project involving fluid dynamics and basic mechanics.

I’ll be updating those issues permanently.

since it is my first post I’d like to say a few words about everything.

Who am I?

I’m a physics student at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, Germany.

Why am I going blog?

Well, I kinda got too much time right now…

What am I blogging about?

I will write about scientific problems, I encounter during my studies or my work (and of course their solutions). I will also randomly write about societal and philosophical issues crossing my mind. I will switch to German, which is my mother tongue, if I feel I can’t get my thoughts right in English.

I will try to write at least one post a week, but that’s always just a try. I would like to thank everyone, who will read my blog. Since I am new to WordPress, functions are basic right now, but with time to pass by they will get better
